Two Shot

Okay, Aiko here. Just yesterday I bought the Yu Yu Hakusho manga number seven. Yes, Yu Yu number seven. It FINALLY came out!!! *dances in joy* Do you have any idea how long I've been waiting?!
And there's a reason. No, it's not because we meet Chu, though you gotta love the drunkard. And no, it's not because we get to see that (insert random curse word that I will never say) Roto get punished for what he threatened to do. By the way, that is one of my favorite fights!!! I REEEEEAAAAAAAAALLY hate Roto. That (grumblegrumblegrumblegrumble). And it's not because Hiei unleashes the Dragon. It has nothing to do with what's happening at the tourny. Wanna know the reason I'm so happy?
Two words: Two Shot. Yes, it's finally here! The wonderful awesome short-haired Kurama Two Shot! It's awesome! Kurama is so cute with short hair!!
Okay, let me back up a bit. Got a bit too excited. I'm guessing most of you don't have a clue what Two Shot is, even some of you Yu Yu savvy guys. In short, Two Shot is the story of how Kurama and Hiei meet. It takes place about a year or so before the series even began. You see, there's a demon, called Eight Hands, on the loose in Kurama's town. And Hiei is after him. Hiei thinks Kurama is working for Eight Hands, and the two get into a scuffle. No, there's no whip action, unfortunately, but hey, grass swords are cool too! Anyways, there's a girl, Maya, who has a crush on our dear Shuichi. (Grrrrrrrrrr.... Die.....) She gets kidnapped, and Kurama, being the gentleman he is, goes to save her (Oh I wish it were me!!). He teams up with Hiei, cause Eight hands is a freakishly tall demon with four arms, arms for legs, and arms for ears. Creepy, huh? Well, as the two of them are, they can't beat him alone, so it's kind of a forced alliance. I won't spoil the ending for you, but I'll tell you this: IT FRICKIN ROCKS!!! And Maya Kitajima needs to DIE!!!!
Ahem.. Sorry... got a little carried away, there... Oops...

STUPID FINAL EXAMS!!!!

[Klara] Dear readers, we, that is to say Aiko and I, have been busy for the past few weeks getting ready for our *begins to jump up and down as if stomping out really stubborn fire* STUPID FINAL EXAMS!!!!! *begins to cry uncontrollably* WAHHHHH!!!

[Aiko] *Aiko walks in and takes one look at Klara* Have you been sniffing sharpies again? *hands on hips*

[Klara] *stops and looks innocently at Aiko* Yes, what of it? *whips out gold sharpie with a cap and crown on it, sticks it on a pedestal and begins to bow to it* ALL HAIL THE ALMIGHTY SHARPIE KING. *uncaps sharpie* BEHOLD!!!!! *takes whiff *THE...goodness of....sh-sharpie...*falls to floor*

[Aiko] *rubs temples in frustration* Great she passed out...again. *groans* It is too be expected that her Sharpie obsession resurface. It is yearbook time and her writing implement of choice is...yes you guessed it...a sharpie. *looks on as Klara awakens*

[Klara] *wakes up and rummages in backpack for yearbook* YEAH!!! *shows readers ‘beautiful’ cover* Isn’t it wonderful?! I lurve it sooooo much.

[Aiko] And what a surprise...behold it is covered in sharpie. Unlike mine *holds up yearbook with vampire like guy on cover* It reads ‘digitize me, I need a giga-bite’. This years theme at our school was technology.

[Klara] I am still waiting for the year when the theme will be *holds up king-o-sharpies* SHARPIE!!!!

[Aiko] I can’t take it anymore! *whips out mallet* SHUT UP! SIT DOWN! *points to floor* STOP...TALKING...ABOUT....SHARPIES!!!

[Klara] *eyes grow big as saucers and obeys lest she sustain more bruises* yes ma’am.

[Aiko] What a way to end a really good year, oh well. *walks off, then turns around and yells to still siting Klara* COME!!

[Klara] *screams and runs off, pokes head around corner* Bye dear readers

[Aiko] NOW NEKO NO BAKA!!!!

YAY! hehe, okay, readers, Aiko here to clear things up. You may be wondering why there are three photos instead of two. Well, that is because Grr, our friend, was with us when we did this. To show who is who, Grr is first, then myself (I HAVE EARS!! HAHA! I GOT MY ANIME EARS!) then, last but not least, we have Klara. We were thinking of putting Klara's mom up, (she also had ears, but not as big as mine V^_^V) but decided not to. And another thing that this place can do. It can make you look different ages, ethnicities, even change your gender! It can also make you a type of painting, an apeman, and a drunk. I recommend not doing baby, it always comes out looking like Chuckie *shudder* That was creepy. We all agreed when we did this, everyone looked wierd in most of the changes but me for some reason... As a West-Asian, I looked okay. And According to Klara, as a guy I wasn't that bad either. She actually said she'd date me... Sorry to burst your bubble, Neko, I don't swing that way! Besides, I'm taken! lol. Anyways, readers, if you are looking for a good laugh, you should DEFINITELY check this place out!

Morph Your Face Into Manga

Ever wonder what you'd look like as an anime or manga character? Well, here is a cool tool that we here at Sakura Shojo have just discovered. We have appropriately dubbed this *echos and angels sing* THE MANGA MAKER 3000! All you need is a picture of yourself to upload. It stretches a picture of a random character across your face so you look like you're an Anime or Manga character! It matches your eyes and mouth to the picture. It's hilarious and though I like the site, I shall not post my own picture. *turns to Aiko* Hey, what about you....would you like to show the nice readers what you look like with someone else's face stretched over your own? *Aiko growls and bares teeth* Uhhhhhh.....hehe T_T Maybe later. Check it out. It's pretty cool. ^_^

Rockin' New Shojo Mag

The people at VIZ Media created a great new manga and anime source for shojo (girls). It's for young women and it's appropriately titled Shojo Beat. Issue #1 is scheduled for a July release.

They're targeting a "young primarily female audience who care about art, style & design and who love reading stories of romance, adventure and comedy," says teen site Ypulse. Shojo Beat will of course, as manga does, read from right to left. What's really great is, it looks like teen magazine covers and has article titles on the front like "Seventeen" and "Teen People." But instead of a feature with tips on how to make a two year old stick of lip gloss last two more months, it features manga characters and manga oriented articles. Subscribe. It'll be a good read.
